Just a momentary ripple, in the ebb and flow of time
A place to rest along the way, lonely hearts cross a forbidden line
for just a few stolen moments...or a knowing glance
Two love-starved hearts take a terrible chance
Hungry for love, and driven by pain, we risk our whole world
With only emptiness to lose, and true-love to gain,
She took my heart, and she held it up high
till I nearly became as one with the clear, blue sky
I just can't bear the thought of a life without her...
Broken, alone and lonely, forevermore.
And as my empty soul crawls slowly away...
