A contradiction in terms, a damn wonder of the
world
I've known her most of her life, this lovely little
girl
Sweet and petite, with the face of an innocent

Billie
Among my very best friends, is "Billie".
One of life's true "characters"...Some of us go through life observing
"local color"...Billie is "local color"...She has a bumper sticker on
the dashboard of her van that simply says "When I grow up, I want to be just like me!" She collects, among many other
things, nametags...Doesn't matter what the name on it is, nor where it came from, either. Billie's maiden name is Hill...Consider
her parent's sense of humor for a moment...You know, when you were in school, and told to line up and state your name, last
name first...Hill! Billie! Well, you can just imagine...Besides, she used to work with altzheimers patients, so
really, it doesn't matter what they called
you yesterday anyhow.
Billie loves yard work. Especially trimming hedges. She borrowed
my hedge clippers, and wanted to keep them in her car, to trim her patient's hedges. So we made a deal, she keeps them
in her car, and when my hedge needs trimming, she comes over and trims it...
